Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine was born 1 June 1974. She was born in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis can be described as the female version of Alan the name of her father's initial name. Her mother's name is Georgia and there are two brothers named Chad as well as Wade (Alanis"Twin). She learned to play the piano in her early years, aged 6, and guitar at 21. Alanis released a hit single from 1986 entitled Fate Stay With I (b part: Find The Right Man). The singer recorded two albums while a dance-pop artist from Canada: Alanis (1991) and The Time Is The Time (1992). At the age of 18, she made the move from the city of New York, to Toronto which is where her collaborative efforts with writers and musicians did not work. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she picked in the year 1994. Glen had previously worked with Aretha Frankin Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. In 1994, she made the move to LA in the age of 19. In June of 1995 "Jagged Little Pill" was made available through Madonna's Maverick Records. Alanis came up with a method for making songs that are intimate and personal. JLP has sold more than 30 million copies throughout the world, turning into the most popular female album, and also the third top-selling album of all times. JLP was released after enduring emotional turmoil (she was contemplating not releasing an album), and taking some time off to travel. Alanis Alanis Alanis
