Jill Hennessy

She's a native Edmontonian with Irish, Italian and Swedish roots, along with French Ukrainian, French, and Swedish. Jacqueline's sister is an actor too. While growing up, Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French and Spanish. After she turned twelve years young, she began to become interested in being an actor. In Toronto she started her acting career in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort with their twin sisters. After that, she was studying improv at Second City under Deb Kimmet. Two years later, she moved in New York and signed a deal to portray assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long playing hit TV series Law & Order. She also worked in films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) during her three-year run. Over the next couple of years she became a part of many forgettable film, but in 1999 she landed her first starring role in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed with Exit Wounds. She was cast as a lead in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her contribution to the series she was recognized by Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series". In 2000 she married her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two children. In 2007, she was awarded the honour of being included on Canada's Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
